Resin Therapy Studios was founded due to Sara’s passion for working with resin. For Sara, resin artwork started as a creative outlet to decompress and relax, which was commonly called her “therapy”. She started experimenting with different effects and art styles using a small corner of her garage to house her craft area. Her first pieces were small, but as her confidence grew she began tackling larger and more complex pieces.

As time went on, it became apparent that she had a knack for producing a lacing effect in the resin, creating ocean wave artwork. Inspired, Sara’s husband Jake joined in on the fun and began adding his skills as a novice woodworker to the Art pieces. The duo began attending local art shows and received a humbling amount of support and interest in their work.

By now, the two had quickly outgrown the small section of the garage they had set aside for their hobby. Continuous expanding and adjusting of their workspace quickly led them to take over their entire two car garage! Over many months, they created a cozy workshop to house their endeavors under the newly formed “Resin Therapy Studios”.

It is their goal to bring joy into other people’s homes through their artwork. The two often favor functional artwork that can not only add beauty to a space, but also bring a useful purpose with it.
